yesterday our son was stranded along the side of a
very busy highway with my phone, which was out of
battery power, and the hand-powered
radio/charger...even tho the phone continued to show
no power, he cranked the unit, plugged the phone in,
and was able to call for help!!! THANK YOU for

it..you guys have very essential producets for a
constantly changing world environment..who knows when
or where a natural disaster will strike that affects

Being in hurricane-prone South Florida, flashlights
are a must,
and the Life Gear crank-to-charge flashlight has all
youll need.
It comes with 2 beam strengths, a flashing light, a
siren, a radio, and
a cell phone charger - all without need of batteries!

I purchased one about a year ago and when it
disppeared I went right
out and bought another one- well worth the
price! The cell phone adapter that comes with it
doesnt fit my phone,
but Life Gear offers a free adapter. Cant beat that!
In my opinion, this is an excellent product from an

Wow! You can change the title from "Product
Frustration" to "Superior Customer Service". Today,
10/19 the DHL truck pulled up to my door. Before I
could get to the door he was gone but there was a
package from Pacific Pathway containing a replacement
Life Gear Personal Safety Device. I will be 67 next
month and can honestly say that my experience with you
has been the most impressive instance of good customer
service I have ever experienced.
I do a lot of camping and I will take the new unit
with me on my trips (for use of the flash light). I
will let you know how it works.

As a survivor of hurricane Katrina about two years
ago, I like the
products on your website! having multiple power
sources for you electronic
devices is the way to go. If you are caught in a
fairly lenghty power
outage, like a major hurricane disaster, you will run
out of batteries
quite soon. Lanterns that require liquid/gaseous
fuel or battery
power sources are depleted in a few days. battery
powered radios will run
out of batteries in no time. I especially like you
FRS/GMRS radio that
uses hand cranked power!!! If you are at a shelter
you often get
separated from your party or you delegate
tasks/standing in line,etc. and
need to keep in touch with love ones in a large
crowded(public) shelter
facility. having a walkie-talkie radio that will not
run out of
batteries are necessary! trust me , I know. When
everyone in the(public)
shelter sees you with this radio, the only problem
with having a pair of
these radios is that they will get stolen or someone
will strong-arm
(jack)the radio from you!

I ordered an adapter for charging my cell phone from
Lifegear.
This was a free service aside from a reasonable S&H
charge. The only
problem I had was that due to the popularity of the
particular cell phone
model, it was back-ordered, the fact of which I was
immediately notified.
I was originally shipped the wrong adapter, of which,
when I notified
them, they were VERY sorry about, and immediately
replaced it with the
correct one with no hassle for me. As simple as the
part was, they
treated me as though it were very costly and I was
their most important
customer. I was very satisfied.

My Name is Paul G. Smith and I live in Florida, I am a
20 military veteran and and currantly serve as the
emergency planning officer for a Police Department and
City here. For years I have pushed the idea of being
prepared and takeing the time to have essentials
ready. I always heard how hard it was to lug all the
gear around and keep it up to date. I first saw your
product when a freind gave me one of your multipurpose
lights, I checked your website and found the
essentials pack and ordered one as a test. from the
minute it arrived I had to show it to everyone and
explain what it was and how it functioned. I talked
about it so much several others have shown up around
the office and in patrol vehicles. I bragged about it
so much that for my recent birthday the friend that
gave me the light went and purchased the wings of life
pack for me. I didnt think anything could be that
superior to the smaller version. I now keep a life
essentails pack in my office and my wings of life pack
in my police car. I have two more essentaisl packs
at my house and gave away several of the multipurpose
lights for christmas. We live in an area that has had
heavy damage over several years from hurricanes and
recently tornados, I have personnally lost my entire
home to a hurricane and have tried since that time to
teach people to be prepared. Your products help me do
that and allow me to show them how easy and simple it
is at a resonable cost. For these things I just wanted
to say Thank You.

Safety Light. It arrived yesterday in "apple pie
order" and works perfectly and I thank you. But that
is not the bottom line! Am I indebted to you for the
hap-hazard manner I return the item to your for

Well, I suppose I should start with the facts: it did
arrive via Fedex ground a little while ago, and we are
very happy.
But we were flabbergasted and delighted with your
wonderful reply that showed how much you value your
customers. We are truly gratified and happy beyond
words to do business with you! Our son is struggling
to run a small company in Maine, and we know how hard
it can be to keep everybody happy. In fact, it can
sometimes a nightmare! So we are doubly pleased that
you not only managed to get the product out the door,
but that you also were kind enough to be so generous
in the way you responded to our call for help. I know
that our son has to make concessions when he makes
mistakes, and I know that mistakes can and do happen.
In this instance, it seems no one really did anything

WOW!! I am impressed! I thought Customer Service was
a lost art.

BTW, we love the PSDs. I used mine already. We went
to our storage
building to get out our Christmas stuff after dark
the other evening.
Usually, we have to jockey my truck to shine the
headlights into the
building (unfortunately, headlights do not provide a
lot of light at the
ground that close to the vehicle), so I got my PSD
from the console,
cranked it a few times and...let there be light. My
daughter goes to
college and, sometimes, her classes/labs run long
until after it is dark.
Instead of carrying around a bulky flashlight and
worrying about the
batteries going dead, she often uses her PSD light to
get to her vehicle.
I feel better because the PSD also has the flashing
light and siren
for security. I think you all are onto something
with these types of
devices.

They came the day before Hurricane Ernesto arrived in
Williamsburg. Both my parents and my family lost
power for many hours and our phones did not work.
Fortunately, because of the emergency flash light that
we purchased from your company and the adapters you
sent to us, we were able to communicate with our
charged up cell phones. (The radio on the phone also
kept us informed as well as helped to entertain.)

I was cruising down the aisles of my local OSH
store, wondering why those windup flashlights were
only available online or by buying it on the
television late at night on cable. So it was great to
see your 6 in 1 product, which when i saw it i bought
it immediatly. Living here in The Los Angeles area of
the San Fernando Valley, me and my wife are all too
aware of how at any time, there could be THE BIG
earthquake, so your product is a very important item

The reason for my e-mail is I recently purchased one
of your charging devices. I have had some problems
since purchasing it. Carina has been the
representative that has helped me though it. Dennis,
she is a marvel. She has been so helpful and friendly.
I am still having a problem and she is now looking
into that as well. Her response e-mails were almost
immediate considering the time difference. Not one
time has she given me the impression she was getting
tired of or couldn't help me. She jumped right on it
and did what she could to make the situation right.
She is a serious asset to your company. Living in
South Florida, the customer service down here is
either very bad to almost non existant. When a South
